Item Description
This is a Flexline braided metal hose assembly with threaded end fittings, marked FLEXLINE and 316, and recorded at 52 inches long. The 316 mark refers to type 316 stainless steel, the molybdenum-bearing stainless grade chosen for better resistance to chlorides and many process chemicals than type 304.
Flexline is a specialty hose assembly manufacturer in the Northeast United States, established in 1950. The company builds stainless steel metal, PTFE, silicone, composite and rubber hose assemblies, makes flexible metal hose from 3/16 inch to 24 inch ID, lists cryogenic, high pressure gas cylinder pigtail and jacketed assemblies among its specialties, and states that it tests every assembly it builds.
Braided stainless hose assemblies connect piping, pumps, tanks and equipment where the line has to flex, absorb vibration, take up misalignment or handle thermal expansion.
