Item Description
This is a three-phase induction motor manufactured by Hitachi, Ltd. of Tokyo, Japan and labeled for Brother, type TFO, form K. The label carries Brother branding with Hitachi named as the maker, an OEM arrangement common on Japanese industrial machinery. The plate is dated 1994.
The motor is rated 0.4 kW with 4 poles, roughly a half horsepower class machine, and runs on 200 V at 50 Hz or 200 V and 220 V at 60 Hz.
