Item Description
Great Day Everyone. This unit is being sold as Non-Salvageable/Parts Only. This is a Takisawa TC-4 CNC Horizontal Turning Center with Fanuc Series O-T control. Specifications: 10-12" Chuck, 23.62" Swing, 17.32" Turning Diameter, 40.15" Turning Length, 3.5" Bar Capacity, 2,500 RPM, 15,000 lbs max workpiece weight. The Fanuc O-T control was introduced in the early 1980s and Fanuc discontinued support decades ago. CRT monitors fail, boards fail, and replacements are either unavailable or cost more than the machine is worth. No economical repair path exists. This is strictly a parts-only machine mechanical components including spindle, turret, ballscrews, and ways may have value, but no one is rebuilding around an O-T control economically. This unit is scheduled for removal during Phase 1 at the end of January/February. We are accepting offers on this unit. We will accept offers on individual parts, but keep in mind any parts are sold as-is where-is. Shipping is not included.
